Spend President’s Day weekend in Miami at the Boat Show
The Progressive Miami International Boat Show returns to Miami Marine Stadium Park & Basin on the Rickenbacker Causeway in Key Biscayne from February 13-17, 2020. As one of the largest and most influential boat shows worldwide, it draws over 100,000 attendees annually to experience the latest in boating from over 1,000 vendors. Everyone from boaters looking to purchase their next mega yacht to novices enjoying a pleasant day under the sun amidst a marina full of state-of-the-art boats will find something exciting at the Miami International Boat Show.
All About the Boat Show
Wander the marina and explore the latest in powerboats and sailboats, ranging from fishing vessels, pleasure cruisers, sloops, catamarans and yachts, as well as the best new marine technology, gear and accessories. You’ll also have the opportunity to get out on the water with test drives and boating lessons. Browse and board new boats by the most trusted names in the industry, including, Beneteau, Boston Whaler, Cobia, Contender, Donzi, Hobie Cat, Jeanneau, Mastercraft, Prestige, Sailfish, SeaHunter, Viking and many more.
Sailing at the Boat Show
Every year the Boat Show also exhibits sailboats and special programming and gear aimed strictly for sailors. Head towards Piers 8 and 9 where you can board a wide variety of sailing monohulls and catamarans by brands like Bali Catamarans, Fountaine-Pajot and Gemini Catamarans. You can get out on the water and sign up for sailing seminars in a classroom setting with top sailing experts. You’ll also find a pavilion dedicated to sailing gear, navigational equipment, rigging, accessories and clothing, as well as information from a variety of travel and charter companies.
What to Eat
Of course, it wouldn’t be a boat show without a slew of food and beverage provisions, ranging from local food trucks, food courts, bars and a VIP lounge. Enjoy delicious dishes from vendors like Havana 1957, La Cerveceria de Barrio, Latin Café, SuViche, Novecento, Sushi Maki, Killer Melts, Mulberry 1965 Pizza, King of Racks BBQ, B.C. Tacos, Cheeseburger Baby and Bruma Nitro Coffee.
